Stage 4
I used some spot lighting gear with a green LED setting to project on a tree at night. The aim was to capture different sides of the tree to see the change in shadow that the branches would cast. I set the shutter speed to around 3-6 seconds to test the intensity of the glow. I found that 3 seconds gave a good amount of detail and enough glow. the longer the shutter was open, the more movement occurred thanks to the wind, which ruined the images.
Behind the camera
This stage was an extension of the hidden image idea. In person, the lights are powerful and do light up the area well. however, through the use of shutter speed, the camera can capture the natural contrast and glow of the scene in a way that eyes cannot.
